Service Disruption: Routing Error on Upstream Provider Network
Incident Report for GoToConnect
Resolved
At 10:59am Mountain time, two of Jive’s upstream transit peers at one of our datacenters experienced problems routing traffic to Jive’s network. Jive continued to receive routes from these networks, but they were failing to route that traffic to us correctly (“blackholing” our customers' traffic). As a result, some customer locations that traversed those transit peers were not able to connect to that datacenter, causing inbound and outbound call failures for affected customers.

Jive engineers immediately began working to identify and resolve the source of the issue. The issue was ultimately resolved in the upstream providers’ network around 11:34am Mountain Time, resulting in a nearly immediate restoration of services. Our sincere apologies for the disruption.
